Welcome to what I hope will become a great resource for insight, gear reviews, trip reports and more as I expand on my experience in the great outdoors.

Over the last six years, I’ve rekindled my love for being outside. If you are just dipping your toe in the water of backpacking, hiking, camping or fly fishing, welcome.  If you are a more seasoned outdoorsman/woman, hopefully you’ll find some things here you didn’t know.

I’ve learned an enormous amount about the outdoors over the last several years and I’ve met some fellow adventurers along the way. I hope to share as much as possible with each of you. There is a great community of outdoor enthusiasts online with many of them sharing trips, gear and other resources on youtube and other platforms. I plan to give back to that community.
